This month we’ll focus on “Growing in Love” – growing in the Biblical New Testament love found in Jesus Christ and His followers. “Love” as defined by the world is “self” and “feelings” centered. Feelings are fleeting – they come and go. God blesses us with feelings of love for one another, including God – but, true Biblical love is not based on how one “feels,” it’s based on the decision to love, to lay down our lives for one another, regardless – just like Jesus loves us. As His disciples, we can grow in this kind of love, by God’s grace and power.
